Improving of Machine Learning forecast system for Ozone and PM2.5
In collaboration with WA Ecology and Idaho DEQ, this project is creating a ML forecasts for the Pacific Northwest states (Idaho, Oregon, and Washington). The method could be scaled to other regions or the CONUS.
PAH modeling and Human Health:
This project is investigating the impact of emission reductions and sector-specific (traffic and wildfires) emissions on ambient PAHs concentrations.
Air Quality Forecasting (wildfire smoke):
We host the air quality forecasting system for Pacific Northwest - AIRPACT. We focus on summer time wildfire smoke simulations and forecasting. We welcome collaborations!
Agricultural Dust and Human Health
We are interested in how agricultural activities generate dust that affects air quality and human health. Our work combines observations and modeling to quantify exposure and guide strategies for healthier, more sustainable farming communities.
